What I Help With

I work with children, adolescents, parents, and families who want a calm, neuroaffirming space to understand themselves, make sense of their experiences, and strengthen relationships. I work closely with children and early adolescents, offering a gentle, practical approach that adapts to each young person’s style and growing independence.

Services - Assessment

Autism Assessment Information

Autism is a neurotype, characterized by differences in social behaviours, communication, interests and sensory preferences. Having an assessment to identify the strengths and differences associated with a person's neurotype, can assist in developing understanding and insight for the individual and caregivers.

Assessment usually involves a series of interviews/observational sessions with the young person and caregivers, as well as a number of questionnaires. A formal report is prepared and explained in a feedback session. The in-person sessions and report are strengths- based and designed to be a positive and helpful experience.
